Tips for Assuring Lasering Quality
• Anticipate variation in acrylic. While we always strive to maintain the highest level of quality, parts are manufactured by hand and will occasionally vary in slight differences. Measuring first is always recommended.
• Work with accurate CDR templates, the Pacesetter Profit Protection templates allow for bevels, rock-cuts or other nuances outside of the laserable area. |

Method One – Laser Outline Method (Best for Multiple piece jobs)
• Pre-Mask your laser bed, (use pre-mask paper available from any sign supply co.)
• Ungroup your product artwork so that the outline from the CDR template is a separate object.
• Send over the outline or outlines only to the laser and engrave it on the laser bed.
• Now simply place your product centered into the outlines in on the bed.
• Send over the copy and text not outlines, adjust depth and proceed!

Method Two – Overlay Method (Best, when lasering only one or two pieces)
• Place your product in the home position of your laser bed.
• Place a piece of 1/8" or 1/16" clear acrylic on top of your piece.
• Ungroup your product artwork so that the outline from the CDR template is a separate object.
• Send over the outline or whole job to the laser and engrave it on the clear overlay.
• Now simply adjust your product position or artwork for best results.
